We’ve been exploring what happens when good intentions land badly. To wrap up the theme, I want to tell you a story about a dinner conversation that went sideways... and what it taught me about the gap between what we mean, what we say and what someone else experiences.

One thing I know for sure is that some of my biggest learning happens in everyday conversations. Not the ones I’ve prepared for and planned. Not the ones where I strategized and focused.
