Hi! I’m Kim
I’m ready to change the way you think about conversation.
For nearly two decades, I’ve worked in rooms where the stakes were high, the tension was real, and everything hinged on how people showed up. From government chambers to community halls, remote Indigenous communities to bustling boardrooms, I’ve walked alongside people as they’ve faced the hard stuff … and tried to talk about it.
I’ve worked across Canada and the U.S. with governments, industries, organizations, and everyday people. And here’s the thing:
I’m not a psychologist or a counsellor.
I’m not an academic with a PhD in discourse or conflict resolution.
BUT I have spent time with thousands of people, working with hundreds of groups, amounting in tens of thousands of hours, watching how people communicate and interact. I’ve walked with Elders in the wilderness, circled up in council chambers, guided business negotiations close or fall apart, facilitated deeply personal stories in team engagement sessions, and paid close attention to the quiet dynamics that shape how people connect … or don’t.
“It is obvious Kim has a passion for her work. it was a pleasure to be apart of the workshop because of this. I felt even more engaged because of her high level of enthusiasm and professionalism.”
“I was incredibly impressed with Kim’s presentation skills. I believe she modeled being real and vulnerable in a way that I will never forget.”
“Kim was extremely adaptive to the needs of the group. She was intuitive, articulate and motivating. One of her many strengths was how clearly she spoke with intention.”
Disconnection can erode us.
Communicating, interacting and engaging in ways where everyone involved, feels seen, heard, and respected can transform everything.
I’ve come to this work not just through my professional life, but through my personal one, too.
Like holding the hand of a loved one, trying to figure out our future if he couldn’t walk again.
Like navigating the chaos and joy of raising kids to be resilient, capable and caring.
Like trying (really trying) to stay connected as a daughter, sister, family member, friend, and leader in a time when distraction and busy-ness reigns supreme.
Like still liking (and loving) my husband and partner of 25 years.
This kind of connection and change making is what Daring Dialogue is about.
If you’re ready to lead with curiosity, speak with purpose, and show up with your whole messy, human self…
Welcome. You’re in the right place.
Let’s dare to do it different, together.
“Kim was a lot of fun and brought the appropriate amount of laughter to learning. As silly as it sounds, I don’t think I yawned once in two days.”
