Messy Conversation Convention
boundaries CROSSED
Well... this isn't exactly the event we planned.
In April 2026, we invited people from around the world to join us for a conversation about boundaries. More than 100 people showed up. Cameras were on. Energy was high. The conversation had just begun.
Seventeen minutes later, our event was Zoom bombed.
An individual…or perhaps an AI bot…gained access to the meeting, impersonated a member of our team, requested screen-sharing privileges, and proceeded to share explicit content with everyone in attendance.
Needless to say, the irony was not lost on us.
A boundaries event where the boundaries were crossed.
In the days that followed, we made improvements to our security protocols and strengthened our technical safeguards. But the more interesting conversation wasn't about cybersecurity. It was about what happens when something goes wrong despite your best efforts.
Because the truth is, most of us have experienced some version of this. We set expectations. We create agreements. We establish boundaries. We do the preparation. We put safeguards in place.
And then something happens anyway.
A boundary is ignored. Trust is broken. A mistake is made. A conversation goes sideways. A reputation takes a hit. We find ourselves feeling embarrassed, frustrated, disappointed, angry, or questioning ourselves.
What do we do then?
Join us for a candid conversation about resilience, accountability, repair, and what happens when the boundary doesn't hold.
Because boundaries aren't truly tested when they're respected. They're tested when they're crossed.
